Coaching Agreement

By purchasing a coaching program from Empower Inward, you ("Client") agree to the terms below. Please read them before checkout. Questions? Email deb@empowerinward.com.

1. Parties and programs

This agreement is between Empower Inward Media LLC ("Coach"), represented by Debra Baker (Coach Deb RN), PO Box 573, Clearwater, SC 29822, deb@empowerinward.com, and the Client who purchases a program.

  • Clarity Session: one 60-minute session, $125

  • The Choose Again Program: 8 weekly one-hour sessions, $697

  • The Inward Journey: 12 weekly one-hour sessions, $997

2. What coaching is and is not

Coaching is a partnership to help Client reflect, gain clarity and make choices about their life. Client sets the goals and makes all decisions.

Coaching is not therapy, counseling or medical care. It is not a substitute for mental health treatment. Although Coach is a registered nurse, Coach is acting only as a life coach under this agreement and will not provide nursing care, medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

If Client is experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, thoughts of self-harm or any medical concern, Client agrees to seek help from a licensed professional. Coach may pause or end coaching and refer Client to appropriate care if Coach believes it is needed. In an emergency, Client will call 911 or the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

3. Sessions, scheduling and contact

  • Sessions are held by phone, about 60 minutes each, usually once a week. Coach calls Client at the scheduled time.

  • Sessions are scheduled through Coach's online booking page or by agreement.

  • Rescheduling: Client may reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice by email to deb@empowerinward.com.

  • Late cancellations and no-shows: with less than 24 hours' notice, or if Client does not answer within 10 minutes of the start time, the session counts as used. Coach may make an exception for emergencies.

  • If Coach must reschedule, the session is moved at no cost to Client.

  • All sessions in a program should be used within 10 weeks for the 8-week program and 15 weeks for the 12-week program from the start date.

  • Between sessions, Client may email Coach for brief check-ins. Coach aims to reply within 2 business days. Email is not for emergencies.

4. Fees, payment and refunds

  • Fees are paid through Coach's website checkout before the first session.

  • The Inward Journey payment plan: $333 at checkout, then $332 a month for 2 months ($997 total). Client authorizes these scheduled charges. If a payment fails, sessions pause until it is made up.

  • Founding client offer: The Choose Again Program at $348.50 (code FOUNDING50, limited to 3 clients). In return, Client agrees to give honest written feedback at the end. Coach may share it as a testimonial, using only first name and last initial, only with Client's separate written permission.

  • Refunds: Client receives a full refund if they cancel before the first session. After the first session, fees are not refundable, but Coach may, at her discretion, credit unused sessions toward a future program or Clarity Sessions. If Client ends The Inward Journey early, any remaining scheduled payments are still due unless Coach agrees otherwise in writing. Refund requests go to deb@empowerinward.com.

  • Prices may change for future programs but not for a program already paid for.

5. Confidentiality

Coach keeps what Client shares private and will not share Client's name or details without Client's permission. Coaching is not covered by doctor-patient or therapist-client privilege.

Coach may share information without permission only when required by law or when Coach believes someone is at risk of serious harm, including harm to Client, harm to others, or abuse of a child or vulnerable adult.

Sessions are not recorded unless both agree in writing. Coach may keep brief private notes to support Client's progress.

6. Responsibility, results and ending the agreement

  • No guaranteed results. Client is fully responsible for their own choices, actions and results during and after coaching.

  • Ending early: either party may end this agreement by email at any time. Unused sessions are handled under the refund terms in section 4.

  • Limit of liability: Coach's total liability under this agreement is limited to the fees Client paid for the program.

  • This agreement follows the laws of the State of South Carolina. It is the full agreement between Coach and Client and can be changed only in writing agreed by both.

By checking "I agree" at checkout, Client confirms they have read and agree to this Coaching Agreement.
